“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt in the heart. ” Helen Keller
4 – year old Maria Faustina Ole’s story is one that brings hope and gladdens our hearts that indeed the world can be beautiful by our acts of kindness.
She hails from Akpuada Lomara Isuochi Community in Umunneochi Local Government Area in Abia State.
In May 2019, walking back from Church, she got knocked down by a speedy vehicle. The accident left her with excruciating pain emanating from spinal cord injury with inability to control her neck and risk of possible paralysis. Her dreams of becoming a Medical Doctor or even as basic as living a normal life was gradually fading before her glare.
The Each One Aid One Foundation through her Founder Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor was alerted after an online campaign for funds by her parents. True to his person, moved with compassion and a heart with milk of human kindness, weighed in and the foundation took on the mission SOLELY to give a lease of life to FAUSTINA.
It’s been a long walk here. After several consultation’s referrals,
A team of Neurosurgeons, Orthopaedic Doctors from South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria were on ground at Princeton Specialist Hospital & Orthopaedic Centre Awka, Anambra State for the delicate surgery that cost about 5million Naira.
At the Each One Aid One Foundation, we believe in the inert capabilities of 4year old Maria-Faustina Emma Ole and that someday soon, she would render countless aids to others maybe in her chosen field of Medicine.
She is recuperating now and needs our prayers and support.
The Foundation’s Children Christmas Carnival that comes up on the 21st of December 2019 will feature very specially, little Miss Maria. To God be the Glory!
